Last time I shared my crazy writing process on my Youtube channel and today I am sharing the reasons why I chose self-publishing over traditional publishing.
Now, this is not some 'I tried traditional, but it didn't work' kind of deal, I actually never queried anyone, but instead decided to self-publish my books. Period.
In this video, I share why self-publishing is perfect for my personality and my stories, and maybe it's going to help you make a decision for you, too. Just remember, it really depends on what kind of person you are whether you self-publish or go traditional.

I agree with this so much. My first two books are traditionally published, but the lack of control is something that's been eating at me quite a bit. This is why I ultimately decided for my third book, to go the self-publishing route.
It's a decision that's weighed pretty heavy on me. Some of us just don't have the money for professional help, or the knowledge/resources to market properly, and that comes with a lot of stigma. I realize a lot of people out there will be judging me for it, though I'm glad you're not one of them.
